What is Draft Sim?
Draft Sim is a sports simulation platform where fans can assemble all-time dream teams using historical players and put them to the test in statistically-driven simulations. Forget the "what if" debates — here you can actually run the numbers.
Every player in our database is backed by real career statistics. Our simulation engine uses those figures as the foundation, then applies position synergy modelling and controlled randomness to produce results that feel authentic while keeping every run unique and replayable.
Who Made This?
Draft Sim was created by the Playoff Culture team — a group of sports fans and developers who wanted to settle the greatest "who's the GOAT?" arguments with data rather than just opinions.
Perfect Five — NBA Mode
Perfect Five is our NBA simulation module. You build a five-player roster of historical NBA legends, starting with a captain pick that anchors your team's identity. From there you select four more players to complete your lineup.
Once your roster is set, the simulator runs a full 82-game regular season, tracking wins, losses, points scored, and individual statistics like PPG, RPG, and APG — all grounded in each player's real career averages. Your team then enters the playoffs (if you qualify), fighting through bracket rounds until a champion is crowned or your run ends.
The result page gives you a full recap: your season record, best winning streak, top scorer, and a game-by-game playoff breakdown. Everything is shareable via a unique link so you can challenge friends to beat your squad.
Dream Team — World Cup Mode
Dream Team is our football simulation module. You select 11 all-time World Cup players — legends who appeared in the FIFA World Cup throughout history — and arrange them in your tactical formation of choice (4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2, and more).
You also pick a captain whose leadership and star power influences key moments in the simulation. Once your eleven is set, your Dream Team enters a full tournament bracket: a group stage with match-by-match results, followed by knockout rounds right through to the final.
Each match generates narrative events — goals, near-misses, defensive heroics — giving you a story alongside the scoreline. Share your tournament run and see if your all-time XI can lift the trophy.
Data Sources
All player statistics used in Draft Sim come from historical career data compiled from publicly available and licensed sources. The figures reflect each player's career-wide averages and are used solely for entertainment simulation purposes. Draft Sim is not affiliated with the NBA, FIFA, or any official league or governing body.
